The inception of M.G. Cal
Lockdown saw a boom in skin care products. Most of them were single-molecule formulations such as Hyaluronic acid, niacin amide, retinol, vitamin C, and salicylic acid.
This was also fine until people applied individual serums or creams. At the most, they would be under-treated and not get the desired outcome. Problems arose when people started multi-layering of these individual serums or creams. Too many cooks spoil the broth, as they say. Too many products with their individual bases, stabilizers, and preservatives were bombarded on the skin together morning, evening, and night! Some of them started developing severe kind of allergic reactions for which they had to visit Dermatology clinics.
The Lockdown eased, and we all started stepping outside for work or daily chores. Time spent on an intense skincare routine started dwindling. Naturally, the skin quality suffered due to a lack of skincare and additional sun exposure.
All of this planted the seed of developing a multitasking minimal or extensive skincare routine among us. M.G. Cal’s skincare routine is based on the skin condition and is suitable for all skin types with certain variations, as mentioned on the skin rituals page (Skin Rituals)

M.G. Cal’s set of products has a variety of wisely curated ingredients catering to our skin’s different components and requirements. The skin has many components, including Epidermis (cells), Dermis (collagen, elastin, blood vessels, nerves, melanin), and fat. These products are designed so well as to cause minimal or no irritations to any skin type. They also nourish the skin while healing it.
